Having trouble with the icons? Just look at the icon while holding them! The letter on the left is the category they're in (B for Beats, E for Effects, M for Melodies, and V for Voices), and the symbols on the right match up with their number equivalents on your keyboard (1 = !, 2 = @, 3 = #, 4 = $, and 5= = %).
For example, Beat 1's icon says B! when you hold it, Melody 4's icon says M$, etch. Hope you get the gist by now!
